Freelance Architect - I used to work as a senior designer in a couple of reputable architectural firms in Ortigas and Makati.. After which, with 2 of my friends, founded our own Design & Build group. But due to some personal reasons, the company had to step back for a while. Now, just doing some personal freelance works.
Freelance Photographer - I started with Photography as a hobbyist early 2001, back in the Film (SLR) days. I enrolled myself in that summer in Basic & Advance Workshops of the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation (FPPF) in Fort Santiago, Intramuros. But photography costs and expenses back then was too steep for a young office employee. So after barely two years into photography, I decided to forgo of my expensive hobby.
6 years passed, and with more affordable digital SLR, I once again rekindled my passion of photography. But due to the long hiatus, I found myself back to where I started, a neophyte. One by one, I had to recall all the skills and knowledge I've learned from the beginning. But the joy of experiencing and rediscovering the beauty of photography, once again, was all worth it. Now, after 3 years of constant practice and serious dedication in honing my craft, I can boldly say that I'm back in my old track. With more confidence and aspirations.
I may not be considered a professional yet, but that's what I'm going to be. I've tasked myself to learn everything that I can in photography and master it. I will not rest in mediocrity but rather in excellence. There may still be a long road ahead, but I'll get there on my own pace. Satisfaction and fulfilment in photography is boundless, and I will savor them all on each and every one of my captures. I hope that you'll enjoy and appreciate them all with me.
